The PLCI's presentation of a symposium and a workshop on Laughter Therapy at World Congress for Alternative Medicine in Colombo in November 1997 also succeeded in carrying the message far and wide, globally.

The experts of Priyadarshni Laughter Club International were invited by The Open International University of Complementary Medicines, a prestigious international organization recognized by the United Nations, to present a symposium and a workshop on Laughter Therapy at the World Congress for Integrating Methods which was held at Colombo from November 25 to December 2, 1997. Presentation on this international platform provided a tremendous boost to promotion of laughter therapy.
Priyadarshni Laughter Club International Organized 'Laughter Competition 1999' Clebrate Valentine's Day at Priyadarshni Park, Mumbai. More than 400 people from various Laughter Clubs and about 100 school children participated in it. This was an unique event as it focussed on spreading the concept of Laughter Therary amongst children.
The venue resonated with the sound of hearty group Laughter and the enthusiastic participation of children lent a lot of joy and gaiety to the function. |
