The participants were trained in various Yoga techniques and Asanas that were performed at the beginning of each day by Yogacharya Maruti D. Padekar, Founder and President, Yoga Faculty, IIMV. The interactive practicing sessions on Yoga asanas rejuvenated and exercised all the parts of the body and mind, making the participants relaxed and receptive to the healing sessions conducted during the day.
Dr. Vinod Marathe, Dr. Sujata Vaidya and Dr. Geeta Thakkar then conducted multiple sessions of healing meditations using the Mandala and Crystal therapy, throughout the 3 days. The healing sessions refreshed the participants in body, mind and spirit.
The participants were also given individual massages by a specialist Dr. Anil Mulik using the advanced Gagangiri Technique - freedom from pain, in integration with several massaging techniques of Oriental origin starting from the Marimba technique of Ayurveda. Dr. Sujata Vaidya provided the Meridian Massaging for the lady participants. The massages were both curative and preventive in dealing with the ailments of each person.
Dr. S. G. Kane, Consultant in the field of Ayurveda and descending from a family of doctors of Ayurveda, treated the participants with his uniquely prepared Ayurvedic medicines created from plant and herbal extracts. He prescribed simple Ayurvedic formulations, which he has discovered through his explorations in Ayurveda. Dr. Kane is a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and the ex-Director of NOCIL, India.
Dr. D. R. Vaze and Dr. R. N. Shukla, Scientists and Researchers at the FDIC Research Centre gave discourses on the various treatments and benefits of alternative medicine and treatments the vedic way.
There were special sessions on the Research Directions of the Vedic Research Centre with Dr. Vijay Bhatkar, Dr. Vinod Marathe, Mrs. Nisha Marathe, Dr. Sujata Vaidya, Dr. D. R. Vaze, Dr. S. G. Kane, Dr. Awinash Chaphekar and Mr. M. G. Asker and the group of participants, on amazing researches based on the synthesis of Vedic Knowledge System and modern Scientific System.
The natural surroundings and power of nature also played an important role in the mental and spiritual upliftment of the participants and reinforced the feeling of serenity and well-being created in one and all.
The alternative therapies used by the doctors had a strong scientific basis and as the treatment progressed each person was able to experience the positive differences in themselves. This sense of well-being was validated through the post treatment, human energy field imaging and Aura that was conducted at the conclusion of the programme, where the participants had the opportunity to view the results on computer.
The weekend programme conducted by the Priyadarshni Academy Vedic Research Centre received great appreciation and positive feedback from the entire group of participants who were too happy to have shared in the wonderful experience. |
